Following on from when a 500 MW MOU signed between Greenquest Solutions and the Cameroon government in 2012.

Greenquest Solutions is thrilled to announce its entry into the small-scale solar farm sector in Cameroon, in collaboration with the local government. This strategic partnership aims to provide sustainable and reliable energy to the local population, fostering economic growth and positively impacting the community. Through the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with town councils across the region, Greenquest Solutions is poised to initiate various solar farm projects that will not only meet the energy needs of the communities but also contribute to the development of local businesses. The focus on clean and renewable energy aligns with the company’s commitment to environmental sustainability. Additionally, the initiative is expected to enhance the viability of health and water clinics, further improving the overall well-being of the community. Greenquest Solutions looks forward to making a meaningful and lasting impact on the region by combining innovation, collaboration, and a dedication to social and economic development.

Preliminary five projects are as follows.

In 2022 GQS had contact with 24 city councils for the deployment of 5 to 10 MW project in each location. So far, as a pilot scheme GQS has signed with

1. Eseka city coucil 5MW, central region. Cameroon
2. Mapubi city concil 5MW. Central Region Cameroon
3. Edea II city council. Littoral region. Cameroon
4. SANGMELIMA city council 5MW Cameroon

The development process has now started with the GQS local team on the ground meeting with town councils and preparing all permit licenses and authorisations for the projects to be considered ready to build.
